　　故事發(fā)生在1970年代的愛(ài)爾蘭，克里斯（希里安·墨菲 Cillian Murphy 飾）是當(dāng)?shù)氐淖锓割I(lǐng)袖，維農(nóng)（沙爾托·科普雷 Sharlto Copley 飾）則是來(lái)自南非的軍火販，兩撥人通過(guò)賈斯丁（布麗·拉爾森 Brie Larson 飾）和奧德（艾米·漢莫 Armie Hammer 飾）的牽線搭橋，準(zhǔn)備進(jìn)行一筆數(shù)額巨大的軍火交易。　　哪知道在交易當(dāng)天，維農(nóng)帶來(lái)的武器竟然并不是克里斯之前預(yù)定的款式，這讓性格爆裂的克里斯非常的惱火，他將這種言而無(wú)信的行為視作是對(duì)自己威信的挑戰(zhàn)。與此同時(shí)，維農(nóng)的手下哈里（杰克·萊諾 Jack Reynor 飾）控訴克里斯的親信斯特沃（薩姆·賴?yán)?Sam Riley）騷擾了他的姐姐，這讓兩個(gè)幫派之間的關(guān)系處于一觸即發(fā)的境地。
