The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

科學怪人的怪獸 山達對蓋拉
ラス?タンブリン,睦五郎,佐原健二,水野久美「フランケンシュタイン対地底怪獣」の姉妹編。クローン生物のフランケンシュタインが、より怪獣的になり、分裂によって山の怪獣サンダと海の怪獣ガイラの2體に分かれる。心優しい兄のサンダと人間を食う兇暴な弟のガイラが、骨肉相食む死闘を演じる。2匹の死闘は都市を中心に展開され、従來脇役に徹してきた自衛隊が、今回は生命の細胞までも焼きつくす殺人光線兵器?メーサー光線砲戦車を登場させ、互角の闘いを演じる。この日?米合作によるフランケンシュタイン2部作は、當時の怪獣ブームから、人間不在の怪獣トーナメント化した怪獣映畫に一石を投じたが、本流にはならなかった。
不道德的禮物
邱淑貞,鄭伊健,王敏德,李蕙敏,江華,陳輝虹,黎應就羅雪兒（邱淑貞 飾）為人中規中矩，幫助父親經營公司，和男友的關系也是不冷不熱，最終被拋棄。 父親公司出現危機，苦思良策的雪兒與好友Sorry（李蕙敏 飾）到碼頭散心，巧遇癱瘓的富豪林樂山（江華 飾）。林樂山被雪兒吸引，長年所患的性無能也似乎有了好轉。 林樂山之弟林樂水（鄭伊健 飾）決定利用這個機會幫助兄長，于是找到雪兒與其簽下合同，答應替其父還債。但前提是雪兒要做其兄一晚的情人。 雪兒在金錢的吸引下答應，于是樂水找來帥Gay佬Honey（王敏德 飾）開始對雪兒進行勾引男人的訓練……
狂犬病1977

Silverman,Isabelle加拿大導演戴維．克羅南伯格執導的本片，主要描寫駭人聽聞的瘋狗病，受傳染的人會口吐綠液，雙眼發光，并且見人亂咬，幾個小時后即不治而亡。美國著名的“性”星瑪里琳．查姆伯絲扮演的羅絲小姐幼時曾患過瘋狗病，因車禍受傷引起病毒復發，腋下竟然不可思議地長出一個嘴巴，而且內有一個可伸縮自如的肉刺，專用來插到別人身上吸血。于是，她在一個接一個吸別人血的同時，也把瘋狗病迅速傳播，使城市瞬間成為瘋人滿布的人間地獄…… 影片評價 僅僅就身體變異而言，克隆伯格的獨特之處在于處處不忘對色情幻想進行扭曲，無論是《狂犬病》（Rabid）中女主角必須由腋下長出一只陰莖來對其陰道作出支撐，還是《錄像帶謀殺案》（Videodrome）中男主角長出陰道般的裂口，都是這種扭曲的必然，連錄像帶的轉子，都像雙乳一樣扭動。《錄像帶謀殺案》其實還有一個原來設想的結局，就是一男（男主角麥克斯）兩女（尼基和卞卡）合體，同時以各自的變異性器官相互絞纏吞噬。在《赤裸的午餐》(Naked lunch)中，那個最終撕開男性外皮露出女體乳房的總裁如果還不夠刺激，等你意識到她的裝束是女同施虐的標準配備，就會有格外的顫栗。
遁入虛無
內森奈爾·布朗,帕茲·德拉維爾塔,Cyril Roy,Olly Alexander,Masato Tanno,Ed Spear,Emily Alyn Lind,Jesse Kuhn,Nobu Imai一場車禍奪去了父母的性命，年幼的奧斯卡和妹妹琳達發誓永不分開。成年后，奧斯卡（Nathaniel Brown 飾）漂泊來至東京，為了實現童年的誓言，他以兜售毒品賺取錢財，終于為琳達（Paz de la Huerta 飾）掙得了飛來東京的機票。兄妹相遇，卻終是隨波逐流的個體。在這個繁花亂墜迷人眼的大都會，奧斯卡繼續進行毒品交易，而琳達則在一家夜總會大跳艷舞。在一次交易時，奧斯卡遭到警察圍捕，混亂中更被槍擊身亡。他的意識漸漸脫離肉體，穿梭在東京的大街小巷，關注跟隨每一個在他生命中留下痕跡的人，等待著下一場不知何時才會開始的輪回…… 本片榮獲2009年Sitges – Catalonian國際電影節最佳攝影獎和評委會特別獎。
