新外星人

　　一個外星人家庭在不幸意外地被美國探測太空船攜回地球，他們在一陣混亂中沖出太空總署逃向沙漠，但小外星人麥克與家人失散，溜上了不良于行的艾瑞克家人的旅行車而跟著車到了內華達州。麥克在一次意外事件中救了艾瑞克之后，與艾瑞克兄弟和鄰居女童黛比等人結為好友，并要求他們協助搜救在沙漠中垂死的家人。艾瑞克一行人終于在麥克的指引下找到他的家人并帶他們回家，卻不意在超級市場中造成騷動，警方及尾隨而來的科學家們企圖抓住他們而引發了沖擊…

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　影片講述的是一位新媽媽 Mary （克里斯蒂·柏克 飾）保護新生兒 Adam（Grace Christensen 飾）的故事。Mary 生了一對雙胞胎，但其中只有 Adam 存活了下來。在照顧 Adam 的過程中她瘋狂地認為有某種超自然的實體在不惜任何代價地把 Adam 從她身邊帶走。
