恐怖回音

　　安娜·帕克（凱特·法蘭奇 Kate French 飾）是一個(gè)美麗的女作家，當(dāng)下她正為新書(shū)做最后的沖刺，可是擔(dān)任出版編輯的男友保羅·瓦格納（史蒂文·布蘭德 Steve Brand 飾）卻提出了較為尖刻的修改意見(jiàn)。心情頗有些低落的安娜找不到靈感，創(chuàng)作陷入僵局。為了幫她完成工作，保羅將安娜帶到一處位于沙漠中央的別墅進(jìn)行創(chuàng)作，不過(guò)他突然有事離開(kāi)，只留下安娜和一條狗。到了夜晚，安娜驚訝地發(fā)現(xiàn)有一個(gè)恐怖的人逡巡在別墅附近。她嘗試著向保羅求助，然而無(wú)法得到有效回應(yīng)。　　2012-3-2，一組奇怪的數(shù)字，讓安娜陷入前所未有的恐懼之中。而在無(wú)盡的恐慌中，她終于發(fā)現(xiàn)了可怕的秘密……

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 仇殺病房
