暴風雨中，3名女子學校的學生被困在地下坑里，他們必須直面各自的內心沖突，奮力求生。

　　在父親的生日宴會上，一面鏡子的突然碎裂讓吉娜（琳娜·海蒂 Lena Headey 飾）和眾人感到了深深的不安。第二天，吉娜來到工作的醫院，卻被告知就在不久之前自己剛剛離開了醫院。對于這一異象，吉娜只以為是同事眼花，但之后發生的事情卻讓她再也無法保持平靜——無論是大街上正在行駛的紅色越野車，還是車中所坐的女子，皆和吉娜完全相同。　　無法控制自己好奇心的吉娜尾隨女子來到了一幢公寓，過后，吉娜遭遇了慘烈的車禍。為了療傷，吉娜開始和男友斯蒂芬（梅爾維爾·珀波 Melvil Poupaud 飾）同居，她將她的所見所聞告知了男友，后者卻認為她不過是腦部受到了創傷，吉娜陷入了無盡的恐懼和懷疑之中。
