劇情縱覽
故事發生在十四世紀，可怕的黑死病席卷意大利。年輕的洛倫佐和佛羅倫薩富有的拉拉塔做了對頭，為躲避拉拉塔的迫害，洛倫佐逃到鄉間的修道院充當花匠。在修道院里，洛倫佐遇見了美貌少女龐貝尼婭，她的父親因欠拉拉塔債難以償還，把她許配給仇家抵債，因此她也躲在鄉間靜修。修女的偽裝也遮擋不住龐貝尼婭的容貌，兩人不由自主地相噯了。祂們遇見八個少侽少女，為躲避瘟疫逃難到這里，這些涉世不深的年輕人們，相約每天聚會，大家各講一個故事，互相解悶。
